Sofia Frohna
Sofia Frohna is a composer, singer-songwriter, and artist based in Brooklyn. Sofia combines her two sonic worlds of contemporary classical music and folk-pop, and writes sensitive, expansive tunes for her guitar, strong alto voice, and flexible band of chamber musicians. She is further informed by her love of modern art, mythology, theatre, comedy, carpentry, and calligraphy. In 2022, she released “Amongst Good Company,” a “dark, ethereal folk” EP. In 2021, Sofia scored episode seven of Showtime’s Cinema Toast, “Attack of the Karens.” Sofia also scored Caleb Jaffe's pilot "It's Not About Jimmy Keene," which premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival, and Susan Bay-Nimoy's short film "Eve", which premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Sofia sings with Amor Artis, and is the host of “New Works, New Drinks,” a salon for contemporary music and craft cocktails.
