Sofie Zamchick is an NYC-based singer/songwriter hitting the indie pop scene with four mallets on the VibeKAT. Named 1 of “10 NYC Artists to Watch” by WFUV, Zamchick was invited to perform in NPR’s 2019 Tiny Desk tour and participate in the 2021 Johnny Mercer Songwriters Project. Zamchick’s music is dreamy, intimate, and heartfelt. With a voice that "flutters between sweet and salty... like a ferocious bluebird" (Kara Manning), her lyrics reveal her deepest secrets and “her sound instills a deep intimacy that drowns out the roaring noise from the upstairs bar... like she’s only singing to you” (Jukely + fanum.fm). Her most recent EP "So This is Goodbye" is a cry-your-eyes-out break-up album in the vein of Avril, Lana, and Lorde with lush harmonies and Zamchick’s signature mallet-heavy instrumentation.
