Strawberry Blonde
Astoria-based indie-pop quintet Strawberry Blonde is here to make you dance and cry at the same time. The five-piece met at Purchase College where they began experimenting with a blend of R'n'B rhythms, dreamy guitars, and powerfully introspective pop vocals. The result - “Calling” released in January 2019, described by Jonathan Adams of HeavyBlogIsHeavy.com as "on the stitch between math-rock and indie-pop, perhaps meeting in that indie middle ground to find its cohesive sound."
