Subtil

Subtil is a singer from Martinique, a French island in the
Caribbean.
Independent artist, she brings you into her Caribbean
pop universe.
Also the sound of creole and French languages take you
to a new destination made of Zouk Bèlè Reggae Hip Hop
and soul music.
She loves musical experimentation, which constantly
enriches her vision of music.
Back in the days, she shared a stage at the Olympia in Paris
with Lebanese rapper Clotaire K for the comeback of the
great singer Natasha Atlas, and performed as a preview for
Cypress Hill.
In 2004, she co-produced her first album, which received a
warm welcome in San Diego California thanks to Makeda
Dread Cheatom, founder of the Worldbeat Cultural Center,
one of San Diego's most important multicultural arts and
events centers.
Her dream of crossing borders was fulfilled at festivals in San
Diego and Tijuana, followed by a tour in Mexico at the
invitation of Natty Congo Crew.
A period of soul-searching and then life as a mom later,
Subtil delivered her self-produced single "Pran'i kool" in
2016.
Because Subtil is also a video producer, she directed and
produced her first video clip with this single.
In 2022, we rediscover her in an Amapiano universe
produced by Inkee Prod with the track "Vini".
In 2023, she is back on stage as a duo, trio or quartet,
accompanied by guitar, percussion, contrabass and steel
pan. in creole French and English languages.
