The Brightmares w/ Caroline Kuhn

The Brightmares is the musical project of brothers Brendan and Damon Smith. Born and raised in New York City, they started writing music together in 2008, and have been collaborating ever since. They've been hard at work on their first album, "When the World Gets Fixed," which comes out in June of 2022.

Caroline Kuhn’s earnest songwriting creates a unique union between folk and jazz with soaring melodies that are accompanied by rhythmic fingerpicking on the guitar and tenor banjo. Caroline began her career in NYC at the age of five, recording jingles and doing an assortment of voice-over and choral work. Outside of her solo project, Caroline is an active member of the folk trio The Ladles.
