The Cliffhangers
The Cliffhangers are Hudson County's own home-grown funk sextet, coming from Hoboken's 4th ward. The founding members met during their time in the local music scene, playing in several other outfits before coming together in 2018 to form The Cliffhangers. The band draws their inspiration from an eclectic mix of funk icons: The Meters, James Brown, Rick James, David Bowie, and The Bar-Kays are just a few of their heroes. In 2019, they released their debut EP: Songs From the 4th Ward - available to stream on all major platforms.
