The Decembers are a New York-based band playing original country-rock music. Piano, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, and drums. Harmonies abound in this band. The songs have an intrinsic lyrical rawness, while the melodies are pretty and hopeful. The band plays regularly at 11th Street bar, Rockwood Music Hall, and in the Hamptons. The members have been playing together for many years and all are veterans.
