The Magnificent Electric

The Magnificent Electric is the musical alias of indie psych artist Jeff Latz. His surrealistic songwriting speaks to those who want to laugh at the absurdity of life.

After releasing his debut album in August 2021, Latz headed to a cabin in Maine to start writing the second album almost immediately.

"I wanted to hone in on lyrics and melody and write some good songs that can stand on their own first," he explains. "Once that's done I'll arrange them for the band and layer on all those warped guitar tones."

But Latz couldn't stay away from the stage for long, and will be performing some of these new songs in a solo set.

"I completely disappeared to work on the first album," he says. "This time around I'd like to give a little peek behind the curtain."
