The Mops

Brooklyn & Pleasantville. As the shared songwriting project of Greg Hunter and Charlotte Hill, The Mops' folk-forward output is eclectic, winding its way from noisy indie rock to introspective chamber pop. The band's discography includes an eponymous cassette (2016), a heartbreak LP (2019), a streak of biweekly bandcamp singles (2020-2021), and a contemplative EP (2022). Their most recent record, “Honeycomb” - recorded with bandmates Danny Mendelson (Big Yawn) and Ellie MacPhee - was released March 17th 2023 on Blissed Out Records. It’s their most ambitious collection of songs to date, with odes to new love and apocalypse angst placed alongside reflections on loss and addiction.
