The Outside In

The Outside In isn’t your grandma’s modern jazz band. Rocking out since 2022, soaring melodies, passionate solos, head-banging grooves, intimate and reflective ballads all define the music, largely composed by pianist Ethan Ostrow. The band can be described as a blend between the Brian Blade Fellowship, the Pat Metheny Group, and something completely new. Featuring some of the most exciting up-and-coming musicians in New York, they are quickly establishing themselves with their deep, lush, and powerful sound.
