Since their inception in early 2018, The Q-Tip Bandits have emerged into the Boston music scene as an energetic and vibrant act that continues to touch audience’s hearts while getting them up on their feet. Their smooth yet powerful sound is backed by the raw energy of rock and the coolness and colors of R&B and funk — with palpable grooves coated with savory, soul-inspired riffs, anthemic horns and meaningful lyrics. Their first LP Melancholy Flowers was released June 10th, 2022.

NYC-based pop-soul group weaves together stories of modern love and life as they navigate through their 20s. With influences like Prince, Emily King, and Lianne La Havas, Big Stuff pushes the boundaries of contemporary pop music with their lyrical and soul-infused sound.

Their debut EP Call It Nostalgia was released in October 2020. The project served as an introduction to the group and their laid-back funk aesthetic. With an acute attention to lyrical detail and harmonic movement, Call It Nostalgia set the tone for the rest of Big Stuff’s discography. In collaboration with NYU’s Village Records, Big Stuff added a bit more vocal power with Can’t Sleep, a captivating and soulful tune, mixed and mastered by Grammy-award winning engineer JC Losada. Following close behind was the group’s fan favorite single, Overtime. Big Stuff took a detour in the summer of 2021, releasing a more pop-centric EP Silver Screen, featuring a light-hearted cover of Paul Simon’s You Can Call Me Al.
