The Vespids

The Vespids are a hard rock band from northern New Jersey comprising of vocalist Charlie Mezini, guitarists Hunter Kino and Joe Juliano, and drummer Michael Byrne. The band’s sound is built upon the foundation of the “classic sludge” of 70’s heavy metal bands like Black Sabbath infused with modern rock groups like Royal Blood and Arctic Monkeys. Simply put, their music is high energy and throttling. The band records and produces their music independently out of Kino’s home studio. Their constant experimentation in the studio helps them shape their sound and find new avenues of exploration.
