Timesink

“timesink is a living, breathing being,” says David Long, trumpet player and composer. “It’s not really about what each of us is doing individually but more about how our contributions affect and shape the sound together so that we can make every experience different from the last.” While taking inspiration from acts like Alfa Mist, Yussef Dayes, and more, the New York City-based jazz fusion outfit known as timesink has created a sound of their own. Long is joined by seasoned and studied musicians Vince Caiafa on drums, Matt Ross on keys, Diego Retana-Pagden on guitar, and Savvas Savvinidis on bass. Having formed just earlier this year, timesink eagerly strives to create moments that connect with listeners and make them feel something truly special.
