Trace The Sun
Trace the Sun, is an indie rock group by pianist Steve Hudson, featuring vocalists John-Michael Parker and Niki Morrissette of the rock group Great Caesar.
Keyboard Magazine describes Hudson’s past music in this way. “There is a quest for beauty in his lines that evokes the masters."
For their upcoming Rockwood Music Hall concert, the trio, will be joined by guitarist Bob Lanzetti of Snarky Puppy, bassist Jed Lingat, and drummer Dave Scalia.
John-Michael Parker is the frontman of the indie rock band Great Caesar, and has toured across the country supporting artists like Eric Hutchinson, Allen Stone, and the Indigo Girls, sharing music and storytelling in the hopes of building a more just and beautiful world. The band’s releases have gained millions of streams on Spotify and YouTube.
Niki Morrissette is a New York City-based actress and singer-songwriter, and has toured the country sharing the stage with diverse acts from Indigo Girls to Allen Stone.
Steve Hudson is a NYC based pianist and composer, for the stage and film. As a pianist he has performed at Lincoln Center, the Blue Note, Monterey Jazz Festival, and concert halls around the world.
His work in film scores has been featured on HBO, Netflix, and PBS.
The single, Love Just Comes Naturally, is available on all music platforms, and their upcoming EP will feature guitarist Jordan Peters (Lauryn Hill), drummer Dan Reiser (Norah Jones, Roseanne Cash).
