Virginia Marcs returns to Rockwood for a solo, 45-minute, acoustic set of art-pop, singer-songwriter originals. To be immediately followed by Alan Mooney with Pamela Vachon at Rockwood Stage 1! Americana rock with a Celtic twist!

Virginia Marcs has gone from Madonna-obsessed adolescent to opera singer turned swing band leader; nothing fit ‘til she received her guitar - a gift of permission. Known now for her emotionally exhilarating vocals and raw storytelling, fans compare her to Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Jeff Buckley and Adele while filing her under anything from new-American goth-rock and diva-folk to pop-punk. Virginia is proudly a vocal feminist, member of the Astoria Music Collective and a geek-extraordinaire.

“ ... intricate melodies and immersive vocal … leaving the audience immediately desirous of more.” - Emerging Indie Bands
"Virginia is a brilliant vocalist that sings from the heart.” - Broadtube Music Channel

In December of 2019, Virginia Marcs revealed her latest collaboration with Alexander Hammer, the video for her song “Wild," which premiered in Downtown Magazine who stated, "Virginia Marcs is a force to be reckoned with in her stunning, unsettling new release, Wild." The video was also featured by Videostatic, Promonews, Radio.Video.News, Find A Song Blog, Times Ledger and QNS.com. Check it out here:
