Vudu Sister is an American recording artist in Providence, Rhode Island. Known for a gothic aesthetic and witchy, grunge-tinged, death folk. The Sister is fronted by Keith J.G McCurdy, an American singer/songwriter with French, Sicilian, and Romanichal gypsy roots.

Influences include grunge, classical music, gothic rock, and folk music. Literary influences include the poetry of Classical Antiquity, Old English poetry, Romantic and Gothic literature, fairy tales, and weird fiction.

In 2012, Vudu Sister released Her debut "Bastard Children”, a dark, noir, gothic folk album featuring a cadre of guest musicians. In 2013, She released a grunge-influenced rock album, "Household Items", featuring frequent collaborator Alexander Garzone of Divey who co-wrote songs such as “Revival” and “Loverboy” and co-produced the album. In 2016, The Sister released "Mortis Nervosa”, inspired by folklore, fairy tales, and “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark” by Alvin Schwarz. Amato Zinno and Diane O'Connor provided the instrumentation with additional guests Kate Jones and MorganEve Swain. “Burnt Offerings”, a collection of original compositions written entirely in Latin and Ancient Greek was released on June 21, 2021. The Sister performed at the Newport Folk Festival in 2013 and frequently tours the United States and Europe.
